The base is solid wrought iron, and is thus a heavy table. Can and may stand outside winter and summer. I clean once a year with green soap. Never wanted to use oil. The table is at least 100 years old and consists of only 3 solid teak boards.
With regret due to lack of space I put them away.
Collection in 9340 Oordegem.The table has 2 burn marks that were on it when I bought it. The base is solid, and so bit rust color.
