The Leolux Pallone is the brainchild of renowned designer Roy de Scheemaker. It was introduced in 1989 and has since become an iconic piece in the world of contemporary furniture design. Inspired by the Art Deco movement, the Pallone's distinctive form pays homage to the era's design principles while adding a modern twist.
Designed for the House of the FutureThe Pallone was designed for the House of the Future. This house was a project by scientist Chriet Titulaer, designed by architect van Cees Dam. The underlying idea? A house where the 'ordinary' citizen could see how smart technology could be applied at home. All designs in the house were particularly innovative and innovative. The Pallone from Leolux therefore fitted perfectly into the picture!
Over the years, the Pallone has been awarded various awards, including “Best Dutch Furniture Design”, “Designpreis Schweiz” and “Good Industrial Design”. Credits for the design go to designer Roy de Scheemaker. He came up with the creative solution to play with materials within one design. Leolux PalloneThe Leolux Pallone consists of two "zones", namely the middle and the outer, which is only available in leather. The backrest, on the other hand, can also be upholstered in fabric. If you want to make an exception and treat yourself to something special, you should opt for the Pallone in a stretch fabric. The Pallone is available in many colors, from bright trendy colors to calm natural tones or a combination of both. The chair stands on chrome legs, which come standard, as does the back tube. Would you prefer to choose an epoxy color? That is also quite possible! The dimensions of the chair are approximately 86 cm x 84 cm x 73 cm (width, depth and height), the seat height is approximately 41 cm.
