This chair by Radboud van Beekum was designed in 1980, for the competition of the First Triennial of Furniture Design in Poznan, Poland.
Frame of rectangular and round tube, between which seat and backrest are sandwiched.
The chair was put into production by Pastoe in 1982, the matching table included with this set, the TM 61, in 1983.

There is no damage to the construction. Solid and sturdy set still excellent for use or as a center-piece in a small room, home or gallery.
