Poster in excellent condition. Never hung up.
This photo exhibition provided a unique image of the Dutch view of Paris in the 1950s. The title Paris was sissy! refers to the atmosphere of the fifties.
The photo shown is by Fred Brommet; Tableaux Parisiens.
Brommet is originally from Groningen and started as an assistant to Gordon Parks, returned to the Netherlands after 1986, but was unable to find work as a photographer after his Paris career.
In the Netherlands it was assumed that it had become too expensive.
