A high-quality crystal design called Coquille. Flygsfors Coquille, designed by Paul Kedelv, and manufactured by Flygsfors Glassworks in Sweden in 1958. Marked on the base. Paul Kedelv joined Flygsfors in 1949, and during his time there he created the most popular and recognizable series of art glass ever manufactured at the company. In 1952, he designed the Coquille range of art glass (which means shell in Swedish). This range or art glass was distinguished by its organic shapes with enveloped layers of transparent and opaque colored glass, and was inspired by seashells. The Coquille range became Flygsfors' most popular and world-famous glass line and was produced in the early 1960s. Original sticker present and engraved on bottom. Known to serious collectors of crystal and glass. Dimensions: 15.5 x 17 x 14.5 cm
