The green mantle is new in original box. The ecrue coat is used but in very good condition. Takahama was a Japanese designer who was born in Tokyo in 1930 and died in 2010. He studied architecture at the University of Tokyo before going to work for his father Takahama Industry Corporation's design firm. 1955 he moved to Milan where he went to work for the Italian design firm Gavina.
