And certificates with the chair
The ‘Elda’ chair is one of the most well-known designs of Italian designer Joe Colombo. This lounge chair is one of the first designs using the new material fiberglass in a great amount. Joe Colombo named this design ‘Elda’ in honor of his wife. The white fibreglass shell is fitted with creme leather cushions that support the sitter from all sides. The way the leather is tufted in thick tubes characterizes the ‘Elda’ lounge chair in an unparalleled manner.
The ‘Elda’ chair is also represented in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Louvre in Paris
