Wuppertal, GermanyView all items from this sellerWonderful and extremely rare Tandem Sling airport bench by Charles & Ray Eames for Herman Miller. This bench was designed in 1962 by the US designer couple on behalf of Eero Saarinen for the first international airports.
The three-seater bench has a chrome-plated die-cast aluminum frame. The seats are upholstered in black leather. The furniture is in very good condition with signs of wear typical of its age. The seating comfort is also very good.
The row of seats is ideal for the waiting area of a prestigious doctor's surgery or law firm as well as lounge furniture for commercial or private use.
