Iconic first edition RAR rocking chair designed by Charles and Ray Eames, produced by Zenith plastics in 1950 and distributed by Herman Miller. Molded fiberglass shell in Lemon Yellow color with rope edge trim. The original Zenith checkerboard label is still intact confirming that this is a genuine edition chair. Mounted on original galvanized steel sway bar base.
The rope edge runs the entire perimeter of the chair. The lemongrass shell is in great vintage condition. A beautiful patina and rich presence of fibers. Characteristic light falls through the semi-translucent shell. Completely in original condition
