We bought this painting from Holland Art Gallery and are the first owners. The canvas and window are in new condition.
Gino Sauerbier (1969) studied at the Rotterdam Art Academy in the early 1990s. After doing the graphic direction for several years, he switched to advertising. After some experiments in advertising, Gino decided to devote himself entirely to painting. Sauerbier's paintings show how he would prefer to see the world: full of joy, colors, magic and the unexpected. Western reality, unfortunately, is often the opposite. Therefore, he draws inspiration from distant peoples and primitive tribes. In his work there are many references to nature. Especially the world of fish intrigues him.
