1960s lounge set consisting of a three-seater sofa and a lounge armchair.
Produced by the De Ster furniture factory, Gelderland. Made of solid teak wood and has the characteristic connections under the armrests. A piece of Dutch design!
The set is in used condition, the cushions are still in good condition in terms of filling and so is the fabric, but it has suffered some discolouration due to sunlight.
The singles on the bottom are missing and have been “temporarily” replaced by plywood plates, which surprisingly does little for seating comfort! For the beauty you should apply the singles.
In short, a Dutch design gem that is becoming increasingly rare.
Needs some attention...Singles are missing from the subfloor (replaced by plywood plates) and the cushions are discolored by sunlight.
