Unique painting by Fabian Fabian (1967 Amsterdam) He now presents a new Fabian, without denying his past. Fabian was initially inspired by his father, artist Willem Cernëus. He is known, among other things, for the Corus forced labor monument. At home he made sculptures and statues from scrap iron and other metals. It was motorcycles, musicians and more. He worked with a plasma cutter, decorated with gears and wire steel. His modern works of art were often exhibited in the Cobra museum, among others, and found their way to well-known and unknown Dutch people both at home and abroad. Herman Brood Fabian's expressiveness did not go unnoticed by colleagues either. None other than Herman Brood entered his studio. He enjoyed Fabian's creativity and taught him the tricks of the trade. The collaboration became more harmonious, for example in the so-called Herman Brood Trophy and action painting. Fabian each time made a modern work of art from old iron, which Herman then painted. They were then awarded to special Dutch people such as Pistolen Paultje, Willibrord Frequïn, Hans Dulfer and Jules Deelder. Herman also taught Fabian the finer points of modern art painting. He made numerous modern art paintings together, with Fabian initially often painting the background. In 1999 they jointly provided the complete furnishing of the first modern Herman Brood café: "Go Ape". They founded a studio together, in which the duo worked until Herman's sudden death in July 2001. Herman Brood once said the famous words to Fabian, You are the only one who can continue the tradition! Fabian continues a tradition and continues to innovate and develop himself and masters several art styles. Fabian is listed in the RKD (National Office for Art Historical Documentation) and Artprice (The world leader in Artmarket information).
