Erik Salin, born in Paris in 1960, is a painter and sculptor who works in the spirit of Pop Art. He transforms everyday objects into visual art and explores the limits and weaknesses of consumer society through their processing and aesthetic transformation. By applying luxury brand logos to ordinary objects such as gas cans and first aid kits, Salin creates modern and glamorous sculptures that express both criticism and fascination.
Recognized in France as an innovative artist, Salin combines a variety of artistic influences and techniques in his works. His diverse creations such as the petrol can

The canister is in perfect new condition, it comes from a well-kept - non-smoking household and has very small micro-scratches on the bottom, which are not visible, see last two pictures.
