Bisingen, GermanyView all items from this sellerEjner Larsen and Aksel Bender Madsen were trained furniture upholsterer and cabinetmaker respectively and met under the leading Danish designer Kaare Klint at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts.
This acquaintance developed into a lifelong friendship. In 1947, they began to create designs together. After that, they exhibited furniture every year at the Copenhagen Cabinetmakers' Guild's annual exhibition.
While the chair was the duo's declared favorite piece of furniture, they also designed complete lounge sets, bedroom suites, bookcases, dining tables and office furniture. The results of their work were always simple and timeless.
This set consisting of a sofa and matching armchair is no exception. These create a timeless living room landscape and therefore fit perfectly into any living room.The leather upholstery of the couch shows some wrinkles due to its age, which you can see in the pictures. The armchair also shows these creases a little, but less noticeably. These creases give the lounge set its very own vintage charm.
