Danish sewing table model 40 designed by Severin Hansen. This piece of furniture was manufactured in the 1960s by Haslev Møbelsnedkeri. The table features a drawer with storage compartments and an extendable wicker basket at the bottom.
The way this sewing table was made shows high craftsmanship. For example, the drawer was beautifully integrated into the connection of the legs to the top, something very characteristic of Severin Hansen.
Furthermore, the furniture is marked with the manufacturer's logo, the model number and "made in denmark.The sewing table, which doubles as a side table, is in very nice vintage condition. There are hardly any stains or scratches and the basket at the bottom is also completely intact. Only a small repair was done by a previous owner to the slider at the bottom (see photo). However, this is not visible and therefore certainly not disturbing.
