Model "Bassen" is a "Coffee table" from Germany, also called coffee table with us.
It is made according to German tradition with the finest materials and workmanship.
The table is very heavy and also exceptionally generous in size.
We see a beautiful warm-colored ensemble in teak, which is obviously inspired by the typical Scandinavian / Danish design language that was very popular in the mid-1960s.
Its slightly organic base is a good example of this, and the slatted lectern adds to its elegance.
The whole is in a very nicely restored condition, the traces of use are appropriate for the age of over 60 years but very minimal, and in our eyes never disturbing for the next round of use.
Where necessary thoroughly restored with respect for the authentic looks.
