If you think of a real traditional spacious chair with optimal seating comfort, you will soon end up with the Eames Lounge Chair. This chair was designed in 1956 by Charles and Ray Eames on behalf of the American brand Herman Miller. The promising design generated a lot of enthusiasm from the client, so it was quickly put into production. In addition to the armchair, Charles and Ray Eames also designed the Ottoman to provide ultimate comfort.
This is an edition produced in the late 1970s. The armchair and the Ottoman are in original condition. The leather has undergone a rejuvenation treatment and is as supple as ever. A second set in this exceptional condition is difficult to find.Chipped here and there along the edges, but minuscule.
