By profession, he was a florist and popular almost everything about color and composition. He attended an art/photo school in Santa Barbara / Los Angeles. Conrad's way of painting is characterized by an urgency of vision, which he developed over several years. Conrad's technique involves the constant assessment, measurement and investigation of materials. His summaries provoke a world with a multitude of emotional and intellectual responses that we as viewers must resolve. He works with various materials such as Styrofoam, wood, paper and canvas. He had exhibitions around the world with his paintings here in the Netherlands, one of which was opened by the mayor.
