Acyl on canvas by Ada Breedveld from 1993. Title: Red Bow(red bow). Dimensions incl frame: H64 x b49cm. Dimensions representation: H60 x b45cm. The work is signed by the artist at the bottom right. The authenticity of the offered work is fully guaranteed. A certificate of authenticity can be emailed, upon request.
Frames: Damage to frames will not be described. If a work is framed behind glass the glass is broken, this will be mentioned. Photographs of framed works may show reflections.
Upon purchase the work can be picked up in 's-Gravenzande ( near The Hague(Scheveningen), Rotterdam and Delft and 5 minutes from the beach). The period for collection, upon prepayment, is very generous, i.e. the buyer can collect the work weeks or even months later and if possible combine it with a visit to one of the above mentioned cities or the beach. Our preference for framed work is to send it by courier because of the fragility of the canvas. For the Netherlands the costs are 32.50 euros. For Belgium the costs are 57.50 euro.

Almost all of Ada Breedveld's (1944) paintings feature a woman. A voluminous, ever-satisfied smiling woman, surrounded by an ever-changing backdrop of decorative patterns. These motifs-such as fish, snakes, flowers-symbolize sexual power, growth and vitality. The point, however, is not to point each painting to symbols. In very good condition
