Friso Kramer and Wim Rietveld designed the chair in 1958. Instead of the tubular steel commonly used in the 1920s, folded sheet steel was used for the Result. A light, simple and functional chair was the result, which was immensely popular in schools in the 1960s and also later widely found outside classrooms. In collaboration with HAY, a redesign of the Result chair came in 2017. Flexible, light and strong.
