Wonderful Dutch design
Italian Flos, collaborated with Dutch design icon Marcel Wanders for this lamp, a more than successful marriage, which resulted in the beautiful Can Can collection. Marcel Wanders, who currently runs his own brand Moooi, became very well known in design circles with his creation Knotted Chair.
Tiny buttons and other patterns
The knots so characteristic of his Knotted Chair can also be found in this Can Can lamp. The diffuser consists of a tangle of patterns, which are a perfect example of Marcel's technique. It gives the Can Can a modern look, with a mysterious touch.
Shadow play
While the Flos Can Can is a handsome lamp in its own right, we can't deny that the diffuser really stands out. The diffused light bathes the room in a warm light anyway, but the shadows created by the diffuser really add to the coziness. The modern look, fun color combinations and cozy light make this pendant lamp a real winner for trendy interiors.
Technical details
The Flos Can Can pendant lamp is, both the shade and the diffuser, made of injection-molded PMMA. The shade is available in black and white, for the diffuser you can choose between transparent, amber and violet. A maximum 105W bulb is recommended as a light source for the E27 socket.A small piece of the inside transparent scrollwork has broken off. This is virtually invisible but worth mentioning.
