The chairs have (oxidation?) spots on the chrome and the base of one chair is broken in one place (see photos).The chairs have always been indoors with us, in a house with no pets and no smoking.
Before we took possession of the chairs, they spent at least ten years in an office building; what happened to the chairs there, we do not know.
They are almost certainly authentic chairs, but there are no labels or marks on them. Knoll only marks the chairs from 2004, and by then we had owned the chairs for at least about 10 years. The dimensions and construction match images in the literature and in the Knoll catalog on the Internet.
