Design by Lu Klopfer, head of Töpferei Johann Lipp Mering, Nr. 882/30
Lu Klopfer (1924-1977), who had passed a master's degree as a ceramicist, was the artistic director of the Lipp pottery, which his grandfather and the family had owned for more than 100 years. There are many experimental and exciting pots and vases by Lu Klopfer. You can still visit the Lipp pottery in Mering near Augsburg today.
